Status update + New screens

The gameplay is slowly starting to form its shape, though threre's still a lot to do before we can be completely satisfied with it. Check the list of new features here. There's also some new screens added to the screenshots section.



Goalie

  • Basic movement with left stick. This still needs more thinking
  • Basic saves from sides and top corners using right stick
  • Idle time awareness, goalie prepares to save the ball when the ball comes close

  • In-game transition effects (proper graphics still missing)
  • Playbook is a system for selecting free-hit tactics. With playbook you can easily select a 'play' for your free-hit. The 'Play' consists of one to X number of phases which describe what players will try to do in that play. Phases are visualized on top of field so you will get idea of the selected 'play' and see what happens in each phase. There will also be a feature that allows you to select different positions for players in currently selected play. It will give you flexibity to choose best players in desired positions. In future there might be also tactics editor available which you can use to build up your own 'plays'.
